A few days ago, the world woke up to the news that Empire actor Jussie Smollett had been attacked by some men.
New reports have now confirmed that during the attack the actor was bitten.
His assailants which were two men who wore the MAGA hat were dressed in all-black ensemble with the primary attacker covering his face entirely which made it impossible for Smollett to provide ‘any other distinguishing features of the offenders’.
However he managed to tell police that one of the attackers was between 5ft” 10 – 6ft 1″ tall and weighed around 170lbs.
Official report from the Chicago Police Department on Monday says the men used their teeth – as well as hands and feet – as weapons against the 36-year-old actor.
The report further stated that a friend of Smollett, 60, called the authorities as the actor initially ‘did not want to report [the] offense’.
The actor was also reportedly found with ‘white rope draped around’ his neck and ‘stained clothing’, which had been ‘soaked in an unknown substance’ – possibly bleach.
The attack took place on January 29 at around 2am, soon after Smollett had left a Subway restaurant and was heading back towards his apartment.
The actor was captured on a CCTV camera walking down the street and two men sitting on a bench facing him.
Smollet also told the police that two attackers were able to grab his attention as they kept yelling racial and homophobic slurs, before beating him ‘about the face with their hands’.
